What Is Reality Trail?
Reality Trail is a B2B SaaS platform designed to democratize the creation of AR and AI-driven customer experiences. While many are familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, Reality Trail takes it a step further as a Customer Experience Management (CEM) software. It empowers businesses to craft immersive, narrative-driven experiences that engage customers in innovative and meaningful ways. Every guest interaction with these XR experiences is then captured as data, which clients can view in robust dashboards to gain valuable insights and optimize their strategies.
The Inspiration Behind Reality Trail
The story of Reality Trail begins with a shared passion for leveraging technology to drive business success. For Maria, who holds an MBA, a BS in Marketing, and a minor in Computer Science, the pieces to the puzzle were always there, but embarking on this journey at this stage in life was both unexpected and profoundly meaningful. “It wasn’t something I planned, but life has a way of guiding you toward your true calling,” Maria reflects. With a lifelong commitment to using technology to solve real-world problems, she saw an opportunity to channel her decades of experience and insight into a platform that could revolutionize how businesses engage with their customers.
Unlike most tech startup founders, Maria truly honed in on pursuing this idea after turning 60. “Age, for me, has been an advantage rather than a barrier,” Maria says. “Starting a tech company at this stage in life allows me to contribute to a legacy that I hope will inspire future generations to innovate in ways that drive meaningful impact.”
Jaslyn, the daughter in this duo, complements her mother’s vision with a deep understanding of how technology can be harnessed to create value for businesses. “Studying marketing and event management in college was always a means to an end, with the goal ALWAYS being entrepreneurship,” Jaslyn explains. She has since built a successful career in inclusive advertising, digital marketing, and design for major brands like NBC Universal and Twitter. “I’ve always dabbled in the tech space throughout my career, so this has been a natural next step.”
Together, they recognized the potential of augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) to transform customer experiences and drive business outcomes. For both Maria and Jaslyn, this project has always been rooted in a desire to help others. “My mom is my hero. I look up to her in every way,” Jaslyn says. “I wouldn’t have the desire I have to help others if it weren’t for how she raised me, and I wouldn’t have the long resume in marketing and design that I have if she hadn’t taught me. At the end of the day, to work together is a dream.”
